Terms and Conditions

Welcome to wuntou (the "Service"), operated by an individual developer ("Company," "we," "us"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you and the Company governing your access to and use of the Service.

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms.

2. Your Account

  • You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity under your account.
  • Notify us immediately at support@wuntou.com of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • You may not create an account on behalf of someone else without authorization, or use another person's identity.

3. User Content

3.1 Ownership

You retain ownership of the photos, videos, text, and other content you post to the Service ("User Content").

3.2 License to Us

By posting User Content, you grant the Company a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, and adapt your User Content solely for the purpose of operating, promoting, and improving the Service (e.g., displaying it to other users, generating thumbnails). This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except where content has been shared by other users or retained as required by law.

3.3 Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your User Content and confirm that you have the necessary rights to post it and that it does not infringe or violate any third party's rights or applicable law.

3.4 Public Visibility

Content you post is, by default, publicly visible, including to people without an account, unless you use available privacy controls. Do not post information you wish to keep private.

4. Acceptable Use / Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Post or share content that is illegal, obscene, defamatory, hateful, harassing, threatening, or that exploits or endangers minors.
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation.
  • Post spam, unauthorized advertising, or engage in scams, phishing, or fraud.
  • Infringe another person's intellectual property, privacy, or other legal rights.
  • Upload malware or attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
  • Scrape, harvest, or misuse other users' data.
  • Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable law.

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. We reserve the right to remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Content Moderation, Reporting & Blocking

We are committed to maintaining a safe environment on the Service:

  • Reporting content: every post, comment and gig listing has a "Report" option, letting you flag it as objectionable content for our team to review.
  • Reporting a user: every user profile includes a "Report User" option, with selectable reasons (including, for example, inappropriate messages, harassment, impersonation, or spam) so you can flag a user's overall conduct, including conduct in direct messages, without needing to expose message contents publicly.
  • Blocking: users can block other users at any time to prevent further contact, messages, or visibility of each other's content.
  • Filtering: we use a combination of automated filtering and human review to detect and remove content that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines. Content that cannot be checked automatically straight away is held, visible only to the person who posted it, until it has been checked.
  • Enforcement: violations may result in content removal, warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent account termination, at our discretion.

6. Direct Messaging

Direct messages are private between sender and recipient(s), but remain subject to these Terms, our content moderation systems, and reporting/blocking tools described in Section 5. We may access message content where necessary to investigate abuse reports, comply with law, or enforce these Terms.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, logos, trademarks, and underlying software (excluding User Content), is owned by the Company or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service without our written permission.

7.1 Copyright Complaints (DMCA)

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice to support@wuntou.com including: identification of the copyrighted work, identification of the infringing material and its location, your contact information, a good-faith statement of infringement, and a statement of accuracy under penalty of perjury.

8. Subscriptions & Purchases

The Service does not currently offer paid subscriptions or in-app purchases.

9. Termination

  • By you: you may delete your account at any time in the app under More → Account → Delete account, or through https://wuntou.com/delete-account.
  • By us: we may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent or harmful conduct, or for any other reason permitted by law.
  • Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (e.g., Sections 3.2, 7, 10, 11, 12) will survive.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT CONTENT POSTED BY OTHER USERS IS ACCURATE OR APPROPRIATE.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE COMPANY WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF USD 100 OR THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU TO US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liability limitations — this clause may not apply in full to all users.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Karachi, Pakistan.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the app or email and update the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Miscellaneous

  • Entire Agreement: these Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company regarding the Service.
  • Severability: if any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
  • No Waiver: our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right.
  • Assignment: you may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
